After an intensive preparation phase, the time had finally come on September 25–26: we were delighted to welcome our participants to Dresden for the very first time.
At our well-established customer forum, we meet twice a year with energy providers from across Germany to discuss current issues related to the IT Security Catalog, the IT Security Act, ISMS implementation and certification, as well as information security in general. In parallel, we offer our customers the opportunity to participate in the ISMS experience exchange with many industry peers.
The two-day event in the capital of Saxony kicked off on the morning of the 25th with the ISMS experience exchange, where around 20 participants shared their insights before the broader working group program began—with twice as many attendees. In addition to presentations and discussions, the agenda included a guided city tour followed by a group dinner.
For many participants, the highlight came on the second day: a representative from the Federal Office for Information Security (BSI) gave a talk on sector-specific threat scenarios for energy providers and was available for questions afterward.
