Recap: NIS-2 Congress 2025 – We Were There. Real. Direct. TRUST

The NIS-2 Directive is in force – but its implementation into national law is still pending.
In both Germany and Austria, the legislative process remains incomplete. The German government’s coalition agreement from April 9, 2025, emphasizes the urgency, but concrete implementation can only begin once the new cybersecurity strategy is finalized – which is still in development.

That’s precisely why the NIS-2 Congress 2025, held in early May in Frankfurt, was such an important anchor point for many. Because while the legal framework is still evolving, the pressure to act is already very real. The question is no longer “if” but “how” to prepare today to avoid falling behind tomorrow.

And that’s where we come in.

As exhibitors, we weren’t just present – we were approachable. With a clear focus on practicality, clarity, and real support. No buzzwords, no sugarcoating – just honest conversations, concrete perspectives, and above all: straight talk.

A particular highlight was the presentation by Axel Amelung:
“NIS-2 Impact Assessment Completed – Now What?”
Axel demonstrated how organizations can already make well-informed decisions – even without finalized legislation – by initiating preparatory processes and setting strategic priorities. Those who start today will gain valuable time and trust tomorrow.

For us, the congress was more than just an industry event. It was a space for genuine exchange – from the first coffee at the booth to the final deep dive into regulatory details. The conversations were open, honest, and driven by a real interest in solutions. Because the challenges surrounding NIS-2 are complex – but solvable, if tackled together.

We thank everyone who engaged in dialogue with us – for the insightful questions, honest discussions, and the trust you placed in us.
The NIS-2 process is far from over – but it has clearly begun.

And we’re in it for the long haul.
We are: People you can TRUST.
Real. Direct. Reliable.
