A specific bundling of competences for more cyber security in medium-sized companies

Cologne, 16th March 2021: The name of the newly founded joint venture between dhpg IT-Services GmbH (dhpg) and TÜV TRUST IT GmbH Unternehmensgruppe TÜV AUSTRIA (TÜV TRUST IT) is Certified Security Operations Center GmbH. The aim of the cooperation is to become the market leader in the area of Security Operations Centres (SOC) by offering future-oriented solutions and continuous further development.

As a core service, the joint venture offers comprehensive monitoring of the IT systems of connected customers through the Certified Security Operations Center (CSOC), which gave the GmbH its name. The Operations Centre enables round-the-clock monitoring of the IT and also includes the individual evaluation of relevant incidents and the initiation of appropriate countermeasures. A highly specialised team of experts always ensures the maximum benefit of the Operations Centre for all connected customers.

Becoming the market leader with innovative services

The Operations Centre originated at dhpg back in 2018, which responded to the increasing relevance of IT system audits and henceforth offered continuous monitoring against hacker attacks to medium-sized customers in particular.

With TÜV TRUST IT and dhpg IT-Services, two strong partners have now joined forces to form a joint venture, whose service portfolios are a perfect match for the benefit of their joint customers. The Operations Centre’s customers come from all sectors and sizes, with a current focus on small and medium-sized companies. The portfolio of services is constantly being developed in line with market requirements; for example, additional services are currently being developed in the area of industrial (OT) security. “We attach great importance to the constant expansion of our range of services and customer-oriented further development. The central service point of the Certified Security Operations Center GmbH is a new, state-of-the-art location in Bornheim, Rhineland, where the joint venture partners dhpg IT-Services and TÜV TRUST IT GmbH Unternehmensgruppe TÜV AUSTRIA are already working on various service expansions.
