As part of this basic training, the fundamentals of the eIDAS Regulation will be addressed, with a particular focus on the new aspects of eIDAS2 (Regulation (EU) 910/2014 in conjunction with Regulation (EU) 2024/1183).
You will learn what terms such as eIDAS, eIDAS2, EUDIW, Qualified Trust Services, electronic attribute certificate, NIS2 or ETSI/CEN mean and how they are connected. Together with you, we will dive into the world of trust services. We explain the basics and introduce the key details for users, operators or auditors.

Target Group
Companies, administrative organizations, their managers and employees who are active or wish to become active in the context of eIDAS2.
In particular, individuals who
- want to better understand the legal, technical and organizational framework as decision-makers according to eIDAS2 requirements (Regulation (EU) 910/2014 in conjunction with Regulation (EU) 2024/1183) (law, costs, time expenditures),
- want to establish a new service in the context of eIDAS2 / a new trust service, e.g. as potential providers of electronic attribute certificates for the wallet (EUDIW),
- are active as internal auditors or security officers in the eIDAS2 environment,

Please note that due to the broad scope of the training and the not yet complete legal and normative regulations, some topics can only be dealt with as an introduction.

Experienced auditors and certifiers from the accredited conformity assessment body eIDAS of the TÜV AUSTRIA Group.
Language
The training will be held in English. The training material (slides, handouts, etc.) is in English. In exceptional cases and as required, documents in other languages are also used (example: relevant legal norms from non-English or German-speaking countries).
Duration
The training takes place over 3 days.
Please note that due to the broad scope of the training and the still incomplete legal and normative regulations, some topics can only be covered in an introductory manner.
