Kaspersky Industrial Cyber Security (KICS) for Networks successfully certified by TÜV AUSTRIA Group based on Industrial Cyber Security Standard IEC 62443-4-1

KICS for Networks is designed to protect industrial endpoints and PLCs.

Kaspersky Labs has successfully passed the certification of their Industrial Security solution regarding the Secure product development lifecycle at the second highest achievable Maturity Level3.

The underlying standard for IEC 62443 certification provides a flexible framework to address and mitigate current and future security vulnerabilities in industrial automation and control systems (IACSs). Manufacturers, integrators and operators of industrial plants and components worldwide rely on this standard when it comes to the structured protection of Industry 4.0 environments.

The TÜV AUSTRIA auditors were particularly impressed by the high professionalism and comprehensive skills of the responsible Kaspersky developers. In this way, not only have all the standard requirements for the achieved maturity been met, but also partly over-fulfilled.

Due to the current Covid 19 restrictions, the audit was handled completely remotely.

All relevant information related to the certificate can be found in the TÜV AUSTRIA certificate database.
