Dr. Jürgen Kohr joins the management team of TÜV TRUST IT GmbH, TÜV AUSTRIA Group

TÜV TRUST IT, which is based at several locations in Germany and Austria, is a fully-owned subsidiary of TÜV AUSTRIA Group and has been a reliable partner to its clients for IT, information and cyber security as well as data protection and electronic signatures for more than ten years. It has already been awarded certification as an IT security service provider by the German Federal Office for Information Security (BSI) for the areas of IS auditing, IS consulting and the performance of penetration tests.

With more than 200 employees working at all locations, TÜV TRUST IT GmbH, TÜV AUSTRIA Group is growing steadily, not only in terms of its broad service portfolio, but also in terms of human resources. Since 02 November 2022, the management is also pleased about further growth. Dr. Jürgen Kohr has taken up his position as Managing Director of TÜV TRUST IT in Germany alongside Detlev Henze and Dirk Münchhausen, and in Austria alongside Andreas Köberl, and also takes over the management of the Digital Services Business Field of TÜV AUSTRIA.

“I am looking forward to my new challenge and to pushing forward the development of TÜV TRUST IT. Because the world in cyberspace does not stand still either and here we are asked to adapt our services to this constant change and to continue to support our clients in the best possible way. I am sure that I will be able to contribute one or two new inputs with my experience,” says Dr Jürgen Kohr.

Through his responsible activities at T-Systems, Fujitsu and most recently at TÜV Rheinland, Dr Jürgen Kohr brings a wealth of experience in the areas of cybersecurity and IT management to the company. Managing Director Detlev Henze sees his new colleague as a professional as well as human enrichment: “We at TÜV TRUST IT will definitely benefit from his large network in the market and his practical and visionary ideas, but especially from his professional, empathetic nature.”
